Wearing white denim in February?! You’re probably thinking, no way, white jeans and especially overall white ensembles belong to summer, the beach and sunshine. But so-called “Winter Whites” have been a thing this past season, and even though it doesn’t feel like it most of the time, it’s officially still winter, so I thought why not? I’ll give it a try and wear white head to toe (well, actually head to ankle). Since temperatures are rather mild at the moment, I skipped a coat or jacket and stepped out in my new sale find from & Other Stories, an oversized, super soft off-white jumper. I’ve worn it before with grey skinny jeans, but this time decided to take out my ripped white boyfriend jeans from Zara that I bought last summer (skinny version here). At first, I wanted to wear my white, old school Reebok sneakers, but then changed my mind and went with beige ankle boots from Hudson instead (we don’t want to overdo it at our first wearing-all-white-in-winter-trial, do we?). It was a no-brainer that my Furla bucket bag would complete the outfit, and I have to say, I quite liked the outcome. As someone who frequently wears black head-to-toe, it was nice to dress super bright.I recommend using different shades of white for a more structured look, and if you don’t fell comfortable clad in all-white, you can always add a touch of beige, camel or rosé to the mix! Or spice up your outfit with a pop of colour, like bright blue shoes or a pink handbag. What do you think about all white everything? Yay or nay?
